Trail description
The name itself of this 5 km long trail indicates a walk along which you will enjoy historical monuments from the age of the Frankopans such as the Zrinski and Frankopan castle, the country house of the aristocrat Franjo Frankulin from 1660, the churches of Sts Phillip and James from the 11th century, the Holy Trinity and the Holy Cross with a beautiful view of the Rječina canyon, Rijeka and Kvarner. The trail is pleasant because there are no long ascents and it passes partly down little asphalt roads, gravel, narrow dirt tracks and forest routes which are abundant in herbal plants such as sage and smoketrees.
