We start from the big Platak mountain lodge and follow the signs above the lodge that pass the Roman road which leads us to the Roman gates. We carry on through Grlo on the gravel road from which we turn right to the mountain trail that leads all the way to the mountain lodge from where a steep ascent leads us to the peak. After we have reached the peak of Snježnik we descend down the ridge of Snježnik from where we will have a wonderful view. We descend to the gravel road with which we turn right and come to the peak of Guslica. From Guslica we descend back by the same road and turn left onto the mountain road that leads us to the big Platak mountain lodge.

To climb Kamenjak you should come to the place of Kamenjak when you can park your vehicle and head by foot on the road (Louisana) in the direction of Gornje Jelenje about half a kilometre where markings will show us the start of the ascent to Kamenjak (which is also still called Velika Kamičina). At the beginning of the trail, we start on a gravel road of about 300 metres, after which we climb through macchia and steep, sharp turns to the top. During the climb there will be quite a lot of shade, which is good during the warmest summer days. The trail offers us unforgettable views of the whole of the Grobnik region, the Grobnik Alps, Učka and the sea. It is not easy to get lost because the trail is very well marked and easy for orientation. On a rock at the very top of Kamenjak you will find a book that you can write in.
