The Kostrena coastal path is 5 kilometres long and is a real opportunity for fans of long walks by the sea. If you want a break, along the entire coast there are benches for resting, whilst children will find their own fun at the children’s playground. If you fancy some sport, you can go sailing, diving, play tennis, running, bike riding and use the outdoor exercise equipment. Along the Kostrena path there are catering outlets with various offers.

The long and equipped trim trail is the destination for many of the residents of Kostrena and the surrounding places. Along the entire length of the trail you can use the exercise equipment, walk or simply enjoy the view of Rijeka Bay, and then descend again for refreshments at one of the catering establishments by the sea.

This link, which leads from the village of Dujmići to Sopalj, has a special significance because the people of Kostrena who attended the Maritime School in Bakar walked down it part of the way, and so in this way the historical tradition of Kostrena is also touched upon, a maritime tradition.
